    Helsinki International Arbitration Day 2025

Arbitration Lab is pleased to support Helsinki International Arbitration Day 2025 (HIAD), one of the leading arbitration conferences in the Nordics, organized by the Finland Arbitration Institute. This biennial event gathers legal practitioners from across the globe to explore the latest developments in international arbitration. It will take place on Friday, 16 May 2025 at Clarion Hotel Helsinki, Finland.

This year’s discussions will cover recent legislative reforms across Europe, including Finland, and the use of AI and digital tools in arbitration. The program will also explore how advocacy in arbitration has evolved over the years, with insights from platforms like the Vis Moot, as well as the role of technology in shaping advocacy.

    The program features:

    • Keynote on the role of AI in arbitration, exploring its current realities and future possibilities
    • Panel discussion on leveraging technology in complex arbitration, focusing on the practical use of AI and digital tools in data-heavy, high-stakes arbitration cases
    • Interview on the evolution of advocacy in arbitration, with insights from platforms like the Vis Moot, as well as the role of technology in shaping advocacy
    • Panel discussion on modernizing national arbitration laws, examining recent reforms, their drivers, and their impact on the competitiveness of arbitration seats
    • Closing reflections on the day’s discussions from an in-house counsel’s perspective

The conference will conclude with cocktails and dinner.
